LPJS Portsmouth & Southsea
Congratulations to Stacey Bryant in coming third in the Portsmouth & Southsea Leon Paul Junior Series in the girls' under 13 foil competition on the 5th of June this year.

Wiltshire County Championships 2008
The following fencers attended the county championships this season. The lower attendance from Salisbury this year was affected by the scheduling whereby the tournament was run over half term.

2007-2008 Season
BFA Achievement Awards
During this season the following fencers attained BFA achievement awards.
Grade One - Alixander Dawson

Friendly match with Newbury
On the 2nd of June 2008, a team of four fencers: Richard, Luke, Ben and Bruce travelled to Newbury F.C. accompanied by Geoffrey Russell and John Carins as referees. The team fought one pool in each of foil and epée winning them 10-6 and 11-5 respectively. It is hoped to be able to invite a team from Newbury to a return fixture in Salisbury next season.
Isle of Wight Open 2008
Congratulations to John Routledge in coming third in the Isle of Wight Open Men's Foil this year.
Wiltshire Youth Championships - 03/02/2008

Chairman's Match Report
An excellent evening of fencing was carried out with many participants from both clubs able to fence competitively due to the number of Espada F.C. members who made the journey to us. Salisbury members do appreciate Espada continuing what has become an annual fixture to make our Christmas festivities so memorable.
A big vote of thanks must also go to all Salisbury's fencers and parents who contributed to our buffet which was a perfect finale to our final Monday evening of this autumn term. A very happy Christmas and best wishes for the new year.
